Samsung recently launched the Galaxy Tab S9 series, but wait there’s more in store. The company has been working on FE-branded Galaxy Tab S9 models and the information has been slowly leaking out.
Back in June, a reliable source in the display supply chain revealed the launch-day colors for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and FE+. Just recently, the FE+ model also passed through the FCC’s certification database.
Now, thanks to a Bixby landing page in Samsung France, we’ve got some accidental confirmation about the arrival of these two devices( Also Spotted in Roland Quandt’s Tweet ).

It seems like Samsung made a slip-up since the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and S9 FE+ are yet to be officially unveiled. But here’s the catch – scrolling to the bottom of the Bixby page unveils the two new tablets in all their glory.
Surprisingly, the page is still up, though it wouldn’t be surprising if Samsung rushes to change that soon. As of now, the Bixby landing page in the US doesn’t show any such information, suggesting that the leak is specific to Samsung’s French division.
Adding more fuel to the fire, this unofficial confirmation of the two upcoming budget tablets aligns with the information we’ve gathered about the Galaxy S23 FE, which a Samsung executive confirmed not too long ago.
It seems that both the midrange phone and the FE-branded tablets are set to launch around the same time, though the exact date remains a mystery for now.
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE and FE+ Features
According to leaks, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE will boast a 10.9-inch screen, while its larger sibling, the Tab S9 FE+, might come with a spacious 12.4-inch display.
As for the design, it’s likely to resemble the Galaxy Tab S9 series, with most of the changes happening under the hood. Expect a swap from Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 to an Exynos chip, and a move from AMOLED to an LCD unit, all in the name of cost-cutting.
If these leaks are accurate, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE duo will follow in the footsteps of the mid-2021 Galaxy Tab S7 FE. Samsung seems to have made the strategic decision to skip a generation of its budget tablet series, a move it also pulled with the Galaxy S23 FE, jumping straight from the Galaxy S21 FE.
Official Launch Date
While we wait for the official launch, Samsung has already opened pre-orders for the recently unveiled trio of Galaxy Tab S9 tablets, and they come with some tempting promotions. These tablets are slated to start shipping on August 11.
